Cross is a kind of pipe fitting used in pipe branch. It includes straight cross and reducing cross. The pipe end of straight cross has same size. The main pipe of reducing cross has same size, but the size of branch pipe is smaller than the main pipe. For the cross made of seamless pipe, hydraulic bulging and hot pressing are usually adopted at present. The hydraulic bulging technology of cross could be formed once. It has higher production efficiency. The wall thickness of main pipe and shoulder of cross are increased. The hydraulic bulging technology of seamless cross requires larger tonnage equipment, so the forming material should be low carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel with lower cold hardening, includes some nonferrous metals, such as copper, aluminium and titanium etc. Hot pressing technology require small tonnage equipment, so the required materials are low carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel,especially for the cross with large diameter and thicker wall thickness, we adopt hot pressing technology. We produced carbon straight cross, carbon reducing cross, stainless steel straight cross and stainless steel reducing cross etc.
